AI Tool Jury (aitooljury.com) is an independent publisher that puts AI tools on trial and hands down scored, evidence-backed verdicts. We built this site to be read, not to harvest data about the people who read it. This policy sets out, in plain terms, the small amount of information we handle and the choices you have over it.
What we collect
- Privacy-friendly analytics. We measure traffic in aggregate — which verdicts get read, how visitors arrive, roughly how long a page holds attention — so we know where to point our testing effort. These measurements are counted, not tied to a named individual.
- Approximate region. We may see a coarse, country- or region-level location derived from your connection. It tells us whether a leaderboard resonates in one market versus another; it does not pinpoint you.
- No accounts, no profiles. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to. We do not ask for your name, email, or payment details to read a verdict, and we do not build an advertising profile of you.
Cookies
We keep cookies to the bare minimum our analytics needs, and we do not use them to follow you around the web. If you block cookies in your browser, every verdict, leaderboard, and comparison on this site still works exactly the same. Nothing about the reading experience depends on accepting them.
Third-party analytics
The traffic measurement described above runs through a third-party analytics provider acting on our behalf. That provider processes the limited, aggregate signals we have listed and is bound to use them only to return those measurements to us — not to resell your data or track you across unrelated sites. We deliberately favour tooling designed around minimal, non-identifying collection.
How we use what we collect
We use this information to understand which verdicts are worth expanding, to catch broken pages and outdated pricing, to gauge overall demand, and to keep the site fast and secure. We do not sell it, rent it, or trade it. We do not use it to serve you targeted advertising.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you are welcome to ask what we hold about you and to ask us to correct or delete it.
- If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK (GDPR): you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection regarding any personal data we may process.
- If you are in California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what categories of personal information we handle, to request deletion, and to opt out of any sale or sharing — noting that we do not sell or share your personal information in the first place.
Because we hold so little and keep no accounts, most requests are quick to resolve. Write to hello@aitooljury.com and we will act on any valid request within the timeframe the applicable law allows.
Retention
We keep analytics only as long as it stays useful for spotting trends and improving the site, and in aggregated form it is not linked back to you. Any correspondence you send us is kept only as long as needed to deal with your question and satisfy our record-keeping duties, then removed.
International visitors
AI Tool Jury is read all over the world, and the infrastructure that serves it may process the limited data above in a country different from your own. Wherever that processing happens, the protections in this policy travel with the data and we handle it consistently for every reader.
Children
This site is written for adults evaluating software for work and personal projects. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
As the site grows or our tooling changes, we may revise this policy. When we do, we will update the date below and post the current version here. Carrying on using the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
